Introduction |
We continue to develop the direction of our website - graphic game video reviews, organized in this case by Palit with its video cards Geforce GTX 960 Super JetStream, GeForce GTX 970 and GeForce GTX 980 Super JetStream. This review features the video games The Vanishing of Ethan Carter and The Vanishing of Ethan Carter Redux, which compares the performance of various NVIDIA video adapters at maximum quality settings.
Game information |
The Astronauts studio, as promised, has released The Vanishing of Ethan Carter Redux - a well-known game ported to the Unreal Engine 4. The authors clarify that last year's version on UE3 and the current one on UE4 do not differ in terms of the storyline, and if your PC does not allow you to fully enjoy the updated game, then you can safely use the classic version. Nevertheless, the changes look quite significant: the new save system remembers the state of the world at any point in time (in UE3 all investigations have to be started again), the barely noticeable “loading” of new locations has disappeared, the need to return to already visited places at the end of the game has been removed, and, Finally, one of the “scary” episodes was redesigned. Technically, you won’t find any special improvements in graphics, but the settings menu has been expanded, in which additional types of anti-aliasing have appeared, as well as the “rendering resolution” scale, which is becoming a standard, when you can increase or, conversely, decrease the actual image resolution, regardless of the current one.
