The GTX 750 Ti is powered by the GM107 GPU. The number of computational units of GM107 is significantly greater than that of GK107: 640 CUDA cores and 40 texture units instead of 384 and 32, respectively.
A little time has passed since the release of the Radeon R290X, which could compete on par with the GEFORCE GTX TITAN, and NVIDIA released a faster video card, which is currently the fastest single-chip gaming solution ever released - its name is GeForce GTX 780 Ti .
GeForce GTX 780 is the younger brother of the single-chip flagship GeForce GTX TITAN and has similar design features, such as the cooling system and power subsystem. The difference from the GeForce GTX TITAN is that the video card has a slightly reduced number of functional units and half the amount of video memory.
In the GK104 version used for the GeForce GTX 760, two of the eight SMX modules are deactivated. This means that the number of computing processors has been reduced by 384 compared to the maximum configuration – from 1536 to 1152.
The GeForce GTX 770 is a pumped-up version of the GeForce GTX 680, which received slightly increased frequency characteristics, a more efficient cooling system from the GeForce GTX TITAN and a more powerful power subsystem.
The GK110 became the basis of the new GeForce consumer video card. At the end of February 2013, NVIDIA made a major premiere of this video accelerator. A new NVIDIA 3D gaming card was released on the already tested GK110 graphics processor, which served as the basis for the Tesla K20 computing accelerator.
