Prey is a science fiction first-person shooter video game developed by Human Head Studios and published by 3D Realms in 2006. Localized and published in Russia by 1C. The game uses a slightly modified graphics engine Doom 3, which brought to a whole new level of graphics in computer games.
In terms of gameplay, the game is reminiscent of Relic Entertainment's previous creation, the Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War series. The player commands squads of fighters, not individual units (the exception is equipment and unique combat units), the struggle for resources is at the forefront.
