Patch 4.03 for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is now available! This update fixes various bugs in missions and gameplay.
Here is a list of the most important changes.
PC CHANGES
Fixed an issue where shadows from ray-traced plants would suddenly appear when zooming in or changing the view angle.
Fixed a bug due to which, after repeatedly turning off and on reflections and ray-traced shadows, black shadows sometimes appeared on the edges of objects.
Fixed an issue where the DirectX 11 version of the game would sometimes crash on startup or when loading a save on some AMD graphics cards.
Added support for Intel Xe Super Sampling. This technology improves game performance and visual quality through machine learning.
Fixed some lighting issues for screen space reflections that occurred when ray-traced global illumination was disabled.
Improved performance of ray-traced global illumination and ray-traced reflections.
Purple splashes no longer appear on the screen when Geralt rides Roach through puddles.
GRAPHICS CHANGES
Fixed a bug due to which, when ray tracing was enabled, a grid of light reflections appeared on the ground and walls in certain weather.
With ray tracing enabled, the color of the web no longer changes as the camera moves.
Fixed an issue that caused some character textures to appear incompletely rendered during cutscenes.
Fixed an issue where the fog in Poison Valley was pink instead of white in the mission Through Time and Space.

The background music from the quest "In the Shadow of the Eternal Flame" will now stop after completing the quest. If you have already encountered this error, try to enter Novigrad or Oksenfurt's channels again so that the music turns off.

Testing of the video memory consumed by the game was carried out by the program MSI Afterburner. For the indicator, the results on video cards from AMD and NVIDIA were taken at different screen settings 1920x1080, 2560x1440 and 3840x2160 with different anti-aliasing settings.
