Minimum graphics settings:
With minimal graphics settings in No Man's Sky 5.0 The game retains its unique atmosphere and visual appeal, but with simplifications to ensure smooth gameplay on less powerful systems. Texture resolution is significantly reduced, making surfaces less detailed and clear. This is especially noticeable on landscapes and objects that appear more blurred.
Lighting and shadows are also simplified. At minimum settings, dynamic lighting is replaced with more static light sources, which reduces the realism and depth of the scene. Shadows become less detailed, which can make objects appear flat and reduce the volume of surroundings. However, the main lighting elements are retained, providing sufficient visibility and atmosphere.
Particle effects such as smoke, dust and fire are also simplified or reduced in number. This reduces the load on the GPU, but makes scenes less rich and dynamic. Water and other fluids in the game lose their realism, reflections become less accurate, and surface effects become less detailed.

At maximum graphics settings No Man's Sky 5.0 unleashes its full potential, offering photorealistic images and high detail. High resolution textures allow you to see the smallest details on the surfaces of planets, plants and objects. Every surface, be it the ground, rock or metal structure, looks clear and detailed.

Particle effects such as smoke, dust and fire are created with a high degree of detail and dynamism. These effects make scenes more rich and spectacular. Water looks realistic thanks to detailed reflections and refractions of light, which adds to the overall visual quality of the game. Weather effects such as rain, snow and fog look impressive and add atmosphere to the gameplay.

Testing of video memory consumed by the game was carried out by the program MSI Afterburner. The indicator was based on the results on video cards from AMD and NVIDIA with separate screen sizes 1920x1080, 2560x1440 and 3840x2160 with various anti-aliasing settings.
