BASIC INFORMATION ON THE GAME |
In this review, we will consider the pre-release beta version Diablo IV on older families of NVIDIA and AMD video cards. We will analyze the performance of these graphics cards and find out which solution handles the game better.

THE GRAFICAL PART |
In this subsection of our review, the main graphical aspects of this game are revealed. Particular attention is paid to the version of the graphics engine used, the version of the API used, graphics settings and the quality of the development of the main visual aspects.

GAME ENGINE |
Diablo IV uses a game engine developed by Blizzard Entertainment called "Skeletal". This is a new engine designed specifically for Diablo IV, which was designed to provide players with an incredibly beautiful and realistic game world, full of details and effects.
The engine uses the latest technologies such as ray tracing to create realistic lighting, shadows and reflections. The physics has also been improved, which allows you to more realistically interact with the outside world. In addition, new features have been added such as dynamic weather conditions that can affect gameplay.
The Skeletal engine is expected to provide high levels of graphics and performance, as well as the ability to create unique game worlds full of details and features.

In the test of video cards, the default resolution is 1920x1080, other resolutions are added and removed manually. You can also remove and add any positions of video cards. You can also select any of our test processors from the list in the drop-down menu, comparing its performance with the given video card tests (by default, the most productive solution is selected). The test is carried out on the most productive CPU in this game and is scaled to other processors, taking into account their testing on NVIDIA and AMD video cards.

With permission 1920x1080 an average FPS of 25 frames was shown by video cards of the level Radeon RX 470 or GeForce GTX 1060. A minimum FPS of at least 25 frames can be provided by video cards of the level Radeon RX 470 or GeForce GTX 1060. A comfortable average FPS of 60 frames will be able to provide solutions Radeon RX 580 or GeForce GTX 1070.
With permission 2560x1440 an average FPS of 25 frames was shown by video cards of the level Radeon RX 470 or GeForce GTX 1060. A minimum FPS of at least 25 frames can be provided by video cards of the level Radeon RX 470 or GeForce GTX 1060. A comfortable average FPS of 60 frames will be able to provide solutions Radeon RX Vega 56 or GeForce GTX 1070 Ti.
With permission 3840x2160 an average FPS of 25 frames was shown by video cards of the level Radeon RX 590 or GeForce GTX 1070. A minimum FPS of at least 25 frames can be provided by video cards of the level Radeon RX Vega 56 or GeForce GTX 1070. A comfortable average FPS of 60 frames will be able to provide solutions Radeon RX 5700XT FSR.
VIDEO RAM CONSUMPTION |
Testing of the video memory consumed by the game was carried out by the program MSI Afterburner. For the indicator, the results on video cards from AMD and NVIDIA were taken at different screen settings 1920x1080, 2560x1440 and 3840x2160 with different anti-aliasing settings. By default, the graph displays the most up-to-date solutions. Other graphics cards are added and removed from the chart at the reader's request.

Testing takes place on the most productive NVIDIA and AMD video cards and scales up to lower models.

When using video cards NVIDIA an acceptable rate of at least 25 frames per second was shown by processors Ryzen 3 1200 or Core i3 2100.and an FPS rate of at least 60 frames per second will be able to provide solutions of the level Ryzen 5 1400 or Core i5 2500.

The game can download up to 16 threads. The game uses 12 threads as efficiently as possible.
RAM TEST |
The test was conducted on the base configuration Core i 7 5960X with 32 GB DDR4 3200 MHz pre-installed memory. All used RAM was taken as an indicator. The test of RAM on the entire system was carried out on various video cards without running extraneous applications (browsers, etc.). In the graphics, you can add and remove any resolutions and video cards as desired.
