The Mario Party series comes to Nintendo Switch and brings with it a ton of fun! The already familiar gameplay is spiced up with strategic elements. For example, each character will have special dice. There will also be new ways to play. There are mini-games designed specifically for Joy-Con controllers, and new modes that you can play with family and friends.

The classic board game mode is designed for four players who take turns making moves and moving around the map in search of stars. You can also combine two Nintendo Switch consoles and play the fast-paced Game Room mode, for example. For the first time in the series, you can compete with other Mario Party fans in a new online mode.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Super Mario Party is version 1.0. When purchasing a game in a store Nintendo downloads it to a MicroSD card or internal memory.

The total size of the downloaded game is about 5 gigabytes.

GAME ENGINE

Super Mario Party runs on its own modified engine. The engine was developed for use by Nd Cube in proprietary games exclusively for the Nintendo platform.

We were unable to find detailed information other than our own visual observations.

SETTINGS

OVERALL GAMING IMPRESSION

Super Mario Party is a good family game that supports up to 4 people. It is also possible to play on multiple consoles.

  

The game includes many mini-games with different settings, which allows you to satisfy almost all tastes of those who like to play in a fun company.

  

Some Super Mario Party games consist of many mini-games, and are combined in both cooperative and competitive play, so you won't get bored.

 

No special shortcomings, bugs or crashes were noticed.
