GAME ENGINE |
Gear.Club Unlimited runs on its own engine. The engine was developed for use by Eden Games in its own games.
We were unable to find detailed information other than our own visual observations.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION |
Gear.Club Unlimited has a program version of 1.1.0, perhaps with the release the game will receive a day one patch. When purchasing a game in a store Nintendo downloads it to a MicroSD card or internal memory.
The total size of the downloaded game is about 5.5 gigabytes.
CONTROL |
There are essentially no control settings in the game. We only have access to the standard mode, with the ability to select automatic modes.
Driving assistance is also available, which can somewhat complicate the gameplay itself.
SETTINGS |
But there are no graphics settings in the game, all that is available to us is the difficulty setting...
Well, then let’s see how the game differs in portable and TV modes.
COMPARISON OF TV PORTABLE MODE |
In this review, we presented comparisons of the rendering quality of stationary and portable modes:
As we can see, switching to portable mode only slightly reduces the screen resolution, but in general, the picture in both cases is almost identical.
OVERALL GAMING IMPRESSION |
Gear.Club Unlimited is essentially a clone of the mobile version, with the exception that the graphics have been improved for the better, a mode for up to 2 players on the screen has been added, and most importantly, all donations have been cut out.
so essentially we just pay for the game and all achievements, money, machines, etc. are achieved only through our own efforts. Of course, this does not negate the fact that the game is not a full-fledged AAA project, but only a self-contained race, which is not available on the Nintendo Switch...
GAME PROCESS |
Well, below are the first 10 minutes on the console itself:
Disadvantages:
- this is not a full-fledged AAA racing project
Advantages:
- no donation
- so far the only sane representative of its genre on Nintendo Switch
