NVIDIA HFTS is a technique that allows you to create detailed, geometrically correct shadows close to objects while creating soft shadows (see the shadows of the wheel spokes in the screenshot below). The new technique is an extension of the PCSS technique and uses the same principles as Ray Tracing. This approach allows you to combat aliasing artifacts (“ladders”), the effects of objects “hovering above the surface,” render penumbra more correctly, and more.

Our video cards were tested at different screen sizes of 1920x1080, 2560x1600 and 3840x2160 with very high and maximum graphics quality settings allowed by Tom Clancy's The Division. AMD CrossFireX is currently partially supported by the game. SLI works very well with the latest drivers in the game.

Initially it was planned to test it in a gaming benchmark, but later it turned out that sometimes it does not adequately produce the final result, so its use was ultimately abandoned. Also regarding the test segment of video cards, the weather and time of day in the game are dynamic, which distorts the final result (it is almost impossible to achieve identical conditions), so I had to choose a place where the environment does not affect FPS.
