Monster Hunter Wilds is a new installment in Capcom's popular hunting RPG series. Lowest

  • The most simplified models and textures are used, often with a lower original resolution (720p) and upscaled to 1080p.
  • Shadows and lighting work according to basic algorithms, additional effects (detailed reflections, volumetric fog) are either disabled or greatly reduced.
  • Post-processing has been kept to a minimum, and the effects on hits and magic look less saturated.
  • The overall picture quality is noticeably simpler, but the game runs more stably on less powerful hardware (approximately ~30 FPS).

  • High-quality textures and models are included, the rendering of the environment becomes as detailed as possible (clear vegetation, surface texture).

All video cards were tested at maximum graphics quality using MSI Afterburner. The purpose of the test is to determine how video cards from different manufacturers behave under the same conditions. Below is a video of a test segment from the game:

 Our video cards were tested at different screen sizes 1920x1080, 2560x1440 и 3840x2160 with maximum graphics quality settings without upscales.

Initially we were going to test Monster Hunter Wilds using a benchmark, but it soon became clear that its results were far from real gaming performance. This is especially true for the load on processors, which makes the use of the test to assess the suitability of the system very questionable.

Well, and also in the game beta version no ray tracing - This graphic technology will be added only in the final release of the game.
