| GAME |
Ashfall is a post-apocalyptic MMORPG created by two gaming industry veterans that got off to a rocky start in closed beta. Over the past three days since the start of the CBT, based on Steam statistics, there were only 876 people simultaneous online in Ashfall. For a new game that promised to bring freshness to the genre, these numbers are disappointing.
The plot of the game, despite the promises of the creators, is a collection of hackneyed ideas and clichés. Humanity is suffering from global cataclysms caused by global warming, and players are forced to seek salvation in enclaves. Journey for the “Core of Creation”? It sounds like an echo of dozens of identical stories we've seen before.
The gameplay doesn't offer anything new or original, and the combat system, while it claims to have strategy, doesn't really offer anything that makes it stand out from other games. The ability to craft, character development and talents have all been seen before. Plus, integration with Web 3.0 and blockchain sounds like an attempt to catch the attention of the modern gamer, but how it will work in practice is completely unclear.
Beta testing also exposed many technical problems that raise doubts about the competence of the developers. Errors, bugs and shortcomings indicate insufficient attention to detail and quality of the product.
What about multiplayer? PvP and PvE sound tempting, but the low online presence on Steam shows that players simply aren't interested in what Ashfall has to offer.
The game may have potential, but the current execution leaves much to be desired. Everything from the plot to the gameplay seems backward and unoriginal. With a low online count of 876 people on Steam, this seems like a pretty bleak forecast for the game's future. Ashfall needs serious improvements and changes if it wants to attract the attention of players and take its place in the market.

Ashfall's lowest graphics settings are designed to increase performance by reducing the quality of textures, lighting, shadows, and object detail at a distance. Maximum settings, on the other hand, provide high quality in all these aspects, creating a more realistic and impressive visual experience, but reducing performance on less powerful systems.

Our video cards were tested at different screen sizes 1920x1080, 2560x1440 и 3840x2160 with maximum graphics quality settings.

In the video card test, the default resolution is 1920x1080; other resolutions are added and removed manually. You can also remove and add any positions of video cards. You can also select any of our test processors from the list in the drop-down menu, comparing its performance with the given video card tests (by default, the most productive solution is selected). The test is carried out on the most powerful CPU in this game and is scaled to other processors, taking into account their testing on NVIDIA and AMD video cards.

Minimum FPS of at least 25 frames can be provided by video cards of the level Radeon RX 6600 or GeForce RTX 2060. A comfortable average FPS of 60 frames can be provided by solutionsRadeon RX 6700 XT or GeForce RTX 3060.

Minimum FPS of at least 25 frames can be provided by video cards of the level Radeon RX 6800 or GeForce RTX 3070 . A comfortable average FPS of 60 frames can be provided by solutions GeForce RTX 4080 above.
| VIDEO MEMORY CONSUMPTION |
Testing of video memory consumed by the game was carried out by the program MSI Afterburner. The indicator was based on the results on video cards from AMD and NVIDIA with separate screen sizes 1920x1080, 2560x1440 and 3840x2160 with various anti-aliasing settings. By default, the graph displays the most current solutions. Other video cards are added and removed from the chart at the request of the reader.

The test was carried out on the basic configuration of Core i 9 13900K with 32 GB DDR5 6400 MHz pre-installed memory. All used RAM was taken as an indicator. The RAM test on the entire system was carried out on various video cards without launching third-party applications (browsers, etc.). In the graphics, you can add and remove any resolutions and video cards as desired.
