Ryzen AI 300 launch postponed to July 28
Originally scheduled for July 15, the launch of AMD's Ryzen AI 300 series processors has been pushed back to July 28. This date change was confirmed by two reliable insiders and major US retailers, including BestBuy, who have changed the launch date of several ASUS laptops available for pre-order.
Ryzen AI 300 processors, according to official statements from AMD, were supposed to appear on the first laptops in July. While the exact date has not been confirmed, ASUS' website previously listed July 15th as the target date for shipping to begin. Thus, the postponement to July 28 cannot be considered an official delay, but many users perceived it as such.
The main partner for the launch of the new series of Ryzen AI 300 processors is ASUS, which is preparing to release at least nine laptop models. Most of them will not have discrete graphics cards, but ROG and TUF series models with discrete graphics are also expected. There is currently no information about models with Radeon RX 7000 GPUs.
List of ASUS laptops with Ryzen AI 300 processors:
- Asus Zenbook S16 (UM5606)
- Asus Vivobook S14 (M5406)
- Asus Vivobook S15 (M5506)
- Asus Vivobook S16 (M5606)
- Asus ProArt P16 (H7606)

- Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 (GA605)
- Asus TUF Gaming A14 (2024 FA401)

The ASUS website hasn't updated the release date yet, but that's likely to change soon unless the company has an early pre-order deal with AMD, which is unlikely.
