Windows 11 Becomes Dominant OS Among Steam Users
Valve has released fresh data on Steam user preferences, which shows significant changes in the operating systems used. According to the new statistics, Windows 11 has taken the leading position among the operating systems used by gamers for the first time. At the moment, 49.17% of all Steam users have switched to Windows 11, which allowed this OS to overtake the previous leader - Windows 10, whose share was 47.09%. In third place remains Windows 7, which is still preferred by 0.37% of gamers.
NVIDIA graphics cards continue to dominate among gamers. The GeForce RTX 3060 currently holds the lead with a 5.36% share, but the RTX 4060 is quickly gaining popularity and holds 4.41%. If the current trend continues, the RTX 4060 could soon displace the RTX 3060 from the top spot.
