Windows 11 24H2 will be released for all PCs on October 8, 2024
Company Microsoft confirmed that the annual feature update for Windows 11, version 24H2, will be generally available for all compatible PCs on October 8, 2024. Although a preview version is already available for devices Copilot+, other systems will receive the update through the monthly security patch release.
This month Microsoft published a blog post dedicated to data protection and integration Microsoft Copilot, where she also specified the release date of the update. According to the plan, on September 24, 2024, users will be able to install a preliminary update via the C-release, and the official version will appear in October, simultaneously with the monthly security update.
The new update also includes important changes for PCs controlled via Intune, where updates will be implemented during the initial preparation phase OOBE. System requirements for installation Windows 11 remain the same, but very old processors will no longer be able to bypass the requirements.
