Transcend Introduces New Line of Industrial-grade SSDs

Transcend Information, Inc. (Transcend), a leading manufacturer of devices for industrial applications, introduces new industrial-grade SSDs in various form factors: MTE652T (PCIe M.2 2280), SSD452K (SATA III 2,5-inch), MTS952T (SATA III M .2 2280) and MTS552T (SATA III M.2 2242). The SSDs are designed using advanced BiCS4 technology, allowing for up to 96 layers of 3D NAND flash memory. Compared to drives built on BiCS3 NAND, which can only have up to 64 layers of flash memory, the new devices feature significantly higher recording densities. Equipped with DRAM cache for faster access to stored data, the industrial-grade drives are rigorously factory tested and can withstand up to 3 write/erase cycles for outstanding reliability in storing mission-critical information.

Supports up to 3 thousand write/erase cycles and a wide operating temperature range

Available in a wide range of form factors - 2,5-inch SATA III, PCIe M.2 and SATA III M.2 (Type 2242 and 2280), these products meet the drive size requirements that set various standards for industrial solutions. All Transcend SSDs are built on high-quality BiCS4 3D NAND flash memory with 96 layers. These solid-state drives can withstand up to 3 thousand write/erase cycles, not inferior in this indicator to devices based on MLC NAND memory, while demonstrating high performance and an optimal level of reliability. Series I devices are tested over a wide temperature range from -40°C to 85°C to ensure their suitability for long-term continuous use in extreme conditions.
 
PCIe NVMe interface provides consistently high data transfer speeds

The MTE652T model in the M.2 2280 form factor complies with the NVMe 1.3 standard and is equipped with a PCIe Gen3 x4 interface, which uses four lanes to simultaneously transmit and receive data. This allows the drive to show incredibly high data transfer speeds, reaching 1700 MB/s when reading and 1600 MB/s when writing. Also distinguishing features of this type of chip are low power consumption and long-term reliability.

SSD Scope Pro Software

The proprietary SSD Scope Pro software suite provides an intuitive interface that allows you to monitor drive health, helping you more efficiently use and maintain built-in SSDs. Features include: Drive Information, SMART Status, Diagnostic Scan, Secure Erase, Health Indicator, System Clone, and Update firmware (Firmware Update).
