Coracer GPE-01 Thermal Pad Now Available for AMD AM5 Processors — Claimed to Deliver Record-Breaking 130 W/mK

Chinese company Coracer has released GPE-01 graphene thermal pad for AMD AM5 platform, providing maximum heat spreader coverage and extremely high thermal conductivity. Previously, this product was only available for Intel LGA1700 and LGA1851.

GPE 01

The size of the new version of GPE-01 is 32x32 mm, which perfectly matches the square IHS format of AM5 processors. The manufacturer claims thermal conductivity of up to 130 W/m K, which is more than double the performance of Thermal Grizzly's Conductonaut (73 W/m K) and significantly exceeds the values of popular silicon and carbon-filled solutions.

The gasket itself consists of graphene and silicone mixtures, enclosed in a dielectric material to eliminate the risk of short circuits. Despite the stated characteristics, experts advise treating this data with caution, since manufacturers often overstate thermal conductivity for advertising purposes. However, it is known that graphene can reach up to 4000 W / m K under laboratory conditions.

An important feature of the GPE-01 is durability up to 10 years, which makes it attractive to users who do not want to change thermal paste regularly. Unlike liquid metal and traditional compounds, the gasket does not dry out or lose its properties over time.

Although for now no reviews and official price for AM5 version, a similar option for Intel is sold in China for about $15 - this is comparable to the prices of KryoSheet. It is possible that Coracer is a sub-brand of Segotep, under which brand GPE-01 was previously released on the market.
