SilverStone FLP02 - Retro 80s Case with RTX and Liquid Cooling Support, But with a Real Turbo Button

The exhibition Computex 2025 SilverStone company presented new generation of retro case FLP02, which became a continuation of last year's FLP01. The case design is made in the spirit of desktop PCs of the late 80s, with a characteristic beige color, angular shape and classic arrangement of the Power, Turbo and Lock buttons. Despite the old-school appearance, the body is designed for the most modern components.

The FLP02 is a full-size mid-tower tower, which can easily fit flagship level video cards, including the long three-fan models. They are supported by a built-in stand in the same color to prevent sagging. They also fit inside 360mm SVO, making the case a full-fledged platform for enthusiasts.

On the front panel of the case, under the magnetic cover, there are modern interfaces: USB Type-C, two USB 3.0 ports, and a combo audio jack. And the Turbo button has an unexpected modern use: it now switches fan speeds, displaying the mode on a red digital display, just like in real retro PCs.

The front panel is equipped with three real 5.25" bays, allowing you to install optical drives, card readers or additional controllers. If there is no need, you can close the compartments with false panels for floppy disks - they are included in the kit. It is also possible to mechanical power interlock via a key - as in old office systems.

The SilverStone FLP02 case will be available in third or fourth quarter of 2025 priced at $220 in the US, the company promises large-scale production given the high demand for the first model, which remains in short supply.
