RTSS 7.3.7 Beta 8 Released with DLSS 4 Support and NVIDIA's New PresentMon
Coming soon new beta version of RTSS 7.3.7 Beta 8 Build 28221, a key tool for monitoring performance and overlays in games. The update introduces several important changes at once, including new implementation of DLSS 4 support via the extended PresentMon build.
The main innovation was the addition PresentMon-2.3.1-x64-DLSS4.exe, a modified version from NVIDIA that includes support for flip metering for metrics msBetweenDisplayChange
. This allows you to accurately track the performance of DLSS 4 and frame generation via transformer model, especially on modern GeForce RTX 50-series graphics cards. Display latency data is now displayed with high accuracy, which is critical for frame-pacing analysis.
The update also includes new burst mode for PresentMonDataProvider
, which is activated when high lag is detected in games with very high frame rates. This mode disables pauses between processing data packets and improves monitoring accuracy under extreme load conditions.
A new layout has been implemented for OverlayEditor users presentmon_framegen.ovl
, allowing you to track time between renders (present-to-present) и display-to-display time. In conjunction with the new version of PresentMon, it is designed specifically for analyzing the quality of DLSS 4 and the operation of the frame generation module.
Finally fixed the issue with the option "Display maximum frame time", which now correctly displays frametime spikes regardless of the minimum overlay refresh interval. In previous versions, such spikes could be unnoticeable.
