Transcend products have been awarded six Taiwan Excellence Awards 2020
Transcend Information, Inc. (Transcend®), a global leader in storage, media and industrial products, announced that six of its newest devices have been awarded the 2020 Taiwan Excellence Award. With decades of experience in developing and manufacturing high-tech products, Transcend is now in its 16th year wins back-to-back Taiwan Excellence Awards. Also, Transcend has not left the list of the top twenty Taiwanese brands for 13 years. The company continues to focus entirely on developing innovative products, which sets it apart in the global market.
Products receiving awards this year include the ESD350C and ESD240C portable SSDs, the StoreJet® 25M3C and StoreJet® 25C3S portable hard drives, the MTE220S PCIe SSD, and the DrivePro Body Control Center and DPD6N docking station.
Portable SSDs: ESD350C and ESD240C
The Transcend ESD350C Type-C portable SSD features a compact size and rugged, shock-resistant design, delivering impressive data transfer speeds of up to 1050MB/s. The ESD240C comes in a lightweight metal case and is not only shock-resistant, but also has high data transfer speeds (up to 520 MB/s).
External hard drives: StoreJet 25M3G and StoreJet 25C3S
The newly released Transcend StoreJet 25M3C HDD features a USB Type-C port and supports USB 3.1 Gen 1 high-speed interface, and also features three-stage shock protection that meets US military standard drop protection. The stylish and compact Transcend StoreJet 25C3S is made in an aluminum case and is equipped with a Type-C connector, and its delivery includes both a USB Type-C cable and a USB Type-C to Type-A cable, which allows you to connect this model to desktop and laptop computers with USB Type-C or USB 3.1 interfaces.
MTE220S PCIe M.2 SSD
The Transcend MTE220S PCIe M.2 drive features a PCI Express® Gen3 x4 interface and is NVM ExpressTM (NVMeTM) compliant. Using this interface allows you to achieve unprecedented data transfer speeds, which reach 3500 MB/s when reading and 2 MB/s when writing. Built on 800D flash memory, the MTE3S SSD in the M.220 2 form factor is ideal for computing-intensive applications and gaming enthusiasts.
DriveProTM Body Control Center and DPD6N docking station
Transcend DrivePro Body Control Center is a digital evidence management system that has been specifically designed for use with the TS-DPD6N network docking stations. With a capacity of up to 16 TB, this robust server allows you to centrally store up to 4 hours of 000P video.
The Taiwan Excellence Award 2020 ceremony is held by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) under the auspices of the country's Ministry of Economy. The Taiwan Excellence Award recognizes the most revolutionary, high-quality and technologically advanced products produced by Taiwanese companies.
