OneXPlayer Tests New ONEX External GPUGPU 2 with AMD Radeon RX 7800M
OneXPlayer has tested its new external graphics processor ONEXGPU 2, equipped with an AMD Radeon RX 7800M. This is a successor to the RX 7600M XT-based version, and benchmark results show a significant performance boost for portable gaming devices.
The RX 7800M is based on AMD’s Navi 32 GPU with 3840 stream processors and runs on a 192-bit memory bus with 12GB of memory. The GPU has a 180W TGP, making it comparable to the flagship RX 7900M, which is only available in a few high-end laptops. However, as an external GPU, the RX 7800M could become more popular.
In 3DMark Time Spy tests GPU scored 15 points. This is 806% more than the laptop RTX 28 and 4070% less than the laptop RTX 16. It is also noted that the RX 4080M is 7800% faster than the RX 83M XT, demonstrating a significant performance increase.
