NVIDIA is preparing a cut-down version of the H20 for China - release expected in July

Amid tough US restrictions, the company NVIDIA intends to maintain a presence in the Chinese AI solutions market by preparing a new version of the accelerator H20 with reduced characteristics. According to Reuters, the release could take place as early as July 2025 years, and this will be the third attempt to adapt the flagship chip to export standards.

According to preliminary data, new modification H20 will be significantly reduced, primarily due to a reduction in memory capacity and a simplified modular architecture.
