NVIDIA Unveils RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti — Sales Start April 16, Price Starts at $299
NVIDIA has officially announced video GeForce RTX 5060 и RTX 5060 Ti, confirming leaks from recent weeks. Both models use the architecture Blackwell and chip GB206, but differ in characteristics and memory capacity. RTX 5060 received 3840 CUDA cores, operates at frequencies of 2,2–2,4 GHz and is equipped with 8 GB GDDR7 memory with a throughput of 448 GB/s. Power consumption is 150 W. Sales start in May, the recommended price is $299.
RTX 5060 Ti will go on sale on April 16 and will be available in two versions: with 8 GB and 16 GB GDDR7. Frequencies are 2,4–2,5 GHz, the number of cores is 4608, the bus is 128-bit. Power consumption is 180 W. Prices will be $379 and $429, respectively. According to the first synthetic tests, RTX 5060 Ti on 13-14% more productive RTX 4060 Ti with similar power consumption. All key Blackwell technologies are supported: DLSS 4, Multi-Frame Generation, Reflex 2 and AV1 encoders.
Full reviews of the cards will start appearing today, and the cards are expected to be in demand amid the shortage of the RTX 4060 Ti and the high price of the RTX 4070.
