NVIDIA is preparing WoA SoC on Blackwell architecture – rumors about cooperation with MediaTek
NVIDIA is reportedly developing processors for Windows on ARM (WoA), based on the new Blackwell architecture. These chips could debut at Computex 2025, and their performance is said to reach 180-200 TOPS, which will provide high power for modern artificial intelligence and data processing tasks.
The line will include two solutions: N1x for high performance systems and N1 for mid-range devices. Although the exact specifications of N1 are still in question, it is expected to be aimed at the mass market.
It has also become known that NVIDIA is collaborating with MediaTek to implement this project. This alliance could allow both companies to combine their innovative approaches, improving the integration of chips with Windows on ARM.
NVIDIA's production plans look ambitious: by the end of 2025 they expect to release 3 million chips, and in fiscal year 2026 - up to 13 million units. This confirms the company's serious intentions in the ARM device market.
Further details will likely be revealed at Computex 2025.
