NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Reviews Coming January 23, RTX 5080 A Week Later
NVIDIA has confirmed the publication dates for reviews of its long-awaited next-generation graphics cards. GeForce RTX 5090 will be the first model to be examined in detail by experts, and its reviews will appear January 23 2025 years. For comparison, reviews GeForce RTX 5080 will be published only in a week - on January 30.
The RTX 5080 was originally planned to be the first next-gen graphics card, with a release date set for January 21. However, the final BIOS for this model was not completed until late December, forcing NVIDIA's partners to work at an accelerated pace. As a result, NVIDIA decided to push back the embargo date for both models to January 30 to ensure a synchronized launch.
Interestingly, NVIDIA did not separate the embargo for Founders Edition and custom versions of video cards, as it did before. The release dates for all versions remain the same.
Another detail: simultaneously with the RTX 5090, a Chinese modification of the RTX 5090D will be presented, which has limited performance for artificial intelligence tasks.
