NVIDIA Releases GeForce Driver 576.02 — RTX 50 Crashes, Black Screens, and Freezes Solved
Company NVIDIA presented new driver GeForce Game Ready 576.02 WHQL, designed to eliminate large-scale problems with RTX 50 series graphics cards. Users complained about black screens, sudden friezes and crashes in games including Fortnite, Star Wars Outlaws, Monster Hunter Wilds and more. The driver also improves compatibility with technologies such as DLSS Frame Generation, G-SYNC and VSYNC.
Critical crashes that affected not only the RTX 50, but also previous generations of RTX 40 and 30, are fixed in the update. In particular, errors that caused crashes in games with DLSS-FG enabled, artifacts in Control and Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves, as well as issues with HDR, DisplayPort 2.1 and high refresh rates. The update fixes bugs related to Windows 11 version 24H2 and improves system stability when exiting sleep.
Additionally, the driver includes official support for the new GeForce RTX 5060 Ti graphics cards. However, the list still includes open bugs, including crashes in Cyberpunk 2077 with ray tracer enabled and crashes in Red Dead Redemption 2 in DX12 mode. Users are advised to install the driver manually and test the system stability, especially when using daisy chain or high hertz monitors.
Thus, the GeForce 576.02 WHQL release represents the largest update in recent months and is aimed at restoring stable operation of the latest generation of NVIDIA graphics solutions.
