NVIDIA Driver 576.28 Released - More Fixes for RTX 50-Series
Company NVIDIA вreleased a new version of the driver GeForce Game Ready Driver 576.28, all a few days after the 576.02 update. The new release continues to fix Serious Bugs Found on RTX 50 Series Graphics Cards, and also improves stability and performance in a number of games and applications. The update is recommended for installation by all users of new video cards.
Although NVIDIA has not yet officially published a full list of changes, according to preliminary information, 576.28 includes improvements to already fixed bugs: stabilization in Red Dead Redemption 2 (DX12), Horizon Forbidden West, SteamVR, Dead Island 2, Shadow of the Tomb Raider and others. It is also reported that flickers have been eliminated on DisplayPort 2.1, fixes for the sleep mode (Modern Standby), optimization of work with multi-screen configurations and more correct support for HDR displays from LG.
The main difference of 576.28 is additional stabilization Shader Compilation, eliminating rare crashes in OC mode and adjusting behavior 12VHPWR-power supply on some RTX 5090. In addition, the driver improves compatibility with several third-party monitoring utilities. For owners RTX 5070/5080/5090, as well as Linux users via Proton and Steam Play, this is an important release that improves system reliability in games and 3D applications.
