MSI has abandoned the production of AMD RDNA 4 graphics cards - the company will not produce Radeon RX 9070 and 9070 XT
Company MSI officially confirmed that will not release video cards series Radeon RX 9000 (RDNA 4)Including RX 9070 и RX 9070 XT. In response to journalists' requests Tom's Hardware An MSI representative stated: "MSI will not manufacture AMD GPU in this generation."
This decision means that MSI has completely given up from support RDNA4. Unlike previous generations, where the company actively released Radeon RX 6000 и RX 5000, this time MSI didn't even present reference models new AMD video cards. This is especially noticeable against the background decrease in interest manufacturer to the RDNA 3 series, where MSI released only four models: one RX 7900 XTX, one RX 7900 XT and two RX 7600.

It is interesting that the company continues to actively support NVIDIA - eg, RTX 4090 is issued in 12 variants that 3x more than MSI's entire RDNA 3 lineup. This confirms MSI's course on GeForce priority, while AMD products are left without their flagship solutions.
Will MSI support future generations of AMD Radeon – unknown, but in this generation RDNA4 will be left without MSI video cards.
