The key differences between the Claw 8 AI+ and the Claw 7 AI+ are the display size (8 inches versus 7) and the price: the older model costs $899, the youngest is $799. Also, the Claw 8 is heavier (794 g) and slightly larger in size. Both consoles received two Thunderbolt 4 ports, located at the bottom of the case, which improves the connection of peripheral devices.
Claw 7 AI+ is scheduled to be released on 1 декабря 2024 года, while Claw 8 AI+ will go on sale 25 December — before CES 2025. Prices confirmed on Amazon: Claw 8 AI+ version with 32 GB arrangement и 1TB SSD will cost $899, and the Claw 7 AI+ model with 512GB SSD — $799.
Comparative improvements to the new Claw series include a refreshed design, increased memory, and a switch to processors Lunar Lake, making the devices a great choice for fans of modern games. MSI plans to beat competitors such as AMD Ryzen Z2, which will not appear until next year.
