Intel Updates Arc Software with New Name and Improved Functionality
Intel has officially unveiled an update to its graphics software, formerly known as Arc Software. Now it will be called Intel Graphics Software and will become a more versatile tool that combines graphics management, driver updates, and display optimization functions.
The main goal of this update is to close the gap with similar solutions from AMD and NVIDIA. The new Intel software will include improved features for gamers and users that were previously underdeveloped in Arc Software.
Key innovations in Intel Graphics Software:
- All-in-One Hub - updated interface for setting up graphics, updating drivers and optimizing parameters.
- Game optimization - the ability to save profiles for each application or use global settings, including features like frame synchronization and Low Latency mode.
- Improved graphics - detailed parameters such as anisotropic filtering, adaptive tessellation and image sharpening.
- Performance Monitoring - display FPS, temperature, voltage, memory usage and other metrics in real time.
- Overclocking — advanced options for optimizing video cards: VRAM settings (with the ability to increase from 19 Gbps to 22 Gbps), power, voltage, and frequency adjustments.
New features such as manual mode activation Low Latency Mode for XeSS technology, added to the graphics settings section.
Intel also focuses on improving the performance of older DirectX 9 and 11 games with global options. Advanced display options have also been added: variable refresh rate support, color rendering settings, scaling and power saving modes.
