Intel Unveils Arc B580 and B570 Battlemage: Powerful GPU priced up to $250
Intel has officially announced a new generation of graphics cards in the series Battlemage B-Series — Arc B580 и Arc B570, which are aimed at the mainstream gaming segment with a price tag of up to $250. The new products are based on the architecture Xe2 and promise significant performance improvements, especially in ray tracing and rasterization.
Arc B580 will be the top solution in the line. It is equipped with 20 Xe2 cores, with a frequency of up to 2670 MHz and 12 GB of GDDR6 memory with a 192-bit bus, providing a bandwidth of up to 456 GB / s. Power consumption is 190 W, and only one 8-pin connector is used for power supply.
More affordable Arc B570 offers 18 Xe2 cores, a frequency of up to 2500 MHz and 10 GB of GDDR6 memory with a 160-bit bus. Its throughput reaches 380 GB/s, and the power consumption is 150 W.
Both graphics cards support modern technologies, including AV1, HEVC, HDMI 2.1 и DisplayPort 2.1. In terms of performance Arc B580 demonstrates up to 32% increase in rasterization и faster than RTX 4060 by 10%, despite the lower cost.
Intel is emphasizing the increased video memory, which makes the new cards an excellent solution for gaming in 1440p. Arc B580 will go on sale on December 13, 2024 at a price of $249, and Arc B570 will be available on January 16, 2025 for $219.
