Intel Battlemage: First Xe2 Video Cards Coming December 3
Intel Prepares to Launch New Generation of Discrete Graphics Cards battlemage on architecture Xe 2 -HPG, which will begin 3 December. According to exclusive information from Videocardz, the first models will be Arc Battlemage B580 и B570, aimed at the budget segment.
Flagship model B580 received 12 GB of GDDR6 with a 192-bit bus, 20 Xe computing cores and a maximum boost frequency of up to 2850 MHz. She also supports technology Intel XeSS и Xe Matrix Extensions (XMX), which promises to improve performance in modern games. The expected price of the B580 will be around $259, which makes it a competitor to NVIDIA and AMD in the budget segment.
An interesting feature will be the release of the "Limited Edition" version of the B580, for which Intel has prepared a separate embargo on reviews until December 12. Models from partners (AIB) will be evaluated later - starting from 13 December. This approach may attract attention to Intel's "home" product before the start of sales of partner models.
Model B570, will likely be a less powerful version intended to replace Bow A570, but there are no details about its specifications yet. Intel is also keeping quiet about more powerful graphics cards in the Battlemage series, which may not appear until next year.
