Intel Announces Xe3 Plans

Intel continues to develop its Arc Graphics line of graphics solutions. In a recent interview, Tom Petersen, a technical specialist at the company, spoke about the current state and prospects for graphics processors. The focus is now on the upcoming release Arc B-Series, scheduled for 13 December, as well as plans to release the next generation Xe3.

Xe3, codenamed "Celestial," has already reached the final design stage. At this stage, the development team is focused on software, while hardware engineers have switched to developing an even more powerful generation. Petersen emphasized that Intel will maintain the established development rhythm, ensuring stable development of technologies.

Tom also said that Intel GPUs have a release cycle of over a year. So once they come out Battlemage Xe2 in December of this year, launch Xe3 Celestial expected no earlier than 2026 years. The new architecture will be aimed at conquering the segment "Ultra Enthusiast", which puts it in direct competition with top solutions from NVIDIA and AMD.
