In the video card case: a custom PC GeeFarce RTX 5072 with cooling from GPU
The unusual GeeFarce 5027 POS project, assembled by CherryTree enthusiasts, turned out to be more than just a joke. This working mini pc inside a video card case, and it has already passed synthetic tests. The system uses real cooling from GPU and a case that visually completely imitates a full-size video card, but inside there is a compact PC based on Intel Core P.
Configuration includes ASUS NUC 13 Pro module, equipped with 64 GB of RAM and a 2 TB SSD. All of this is neatly built inside GPU- cases with a decorative 8-pin connector and RGB backlighting. According to the 3DMark Night Raid test results, GeeFarce 5027 scored 19029 points in the overall standings, including 21279 graphics and 11900 processor points. This is noticeably lower than the test assembly with the RTX 2070 Super, but for a compact solution - quite a decent result.
It is important to understand that the video card does not work here — it serves only as a case and cooling system. The performance itself depends on the built-in NUC platform. The system is not intended for mass production, however It is quite viable and works stably, as confirmed by the Gamers Nexus testers. This could be the first step in a new trend for reimagined mini PC cases.
