If we take MSRP into account 1000 dollars, this means that NVIDIA and its partners receive extremely low Margins – all 10%. This level of markup looks atypical for premium segment video cards.
However, the final retail price may be higher. Manufacturers may include additional costs for development, logistics and marketing in the price. Variations between models are also possible. Founders Edition and custom versions with more complex cooling systems.
There is no official confirmation of this information yet, but analysts suggest that NVIDIA may use such a pricing strategy to competition with AMD, given rising production costs.
