ASUS Releases BIOS Update with "Core Tuning Config for Gaming" Feature for AM5 Motherboards

ASUS has introduced a new BIOS feature for AM5-based motherboards called "Core Tuning Config for Gaming"This feature is designed to reduce latency and improve performance in games on AMD Ryzen processors.

ASUS Core Tunings Configuration

The "Core Tuning Config for Gaming" feature optimizes memory CAS timings and inter-core latencies (CCD), resulting in improved system response times. This setting helps reduce latency by 8% without reducing memory bandwidth, which is especially useful for improving gaming performance.

The feature is available in a beta BIOS update on AM5 motherboards, including the series X870E и X670E. All updates are based on AGESA version 1.2.0.2b. Users can activate it manually via BIOS to get additional advantages in games.

The update with support for the "Core Tuning Config for Gaming" feature is now available in the following BIOS versions:

  • ROG Crosshair X670E Hero - version 2604
  • ROG Strix X670E-A Gaming WiFi - version 2604
  • TUF Gaming X670E Plus - version 3065
  • ProArt X670E Creator WiFi - version 2604

The BIOS updates are available in beta and can be installed manually. The downloads are available on the ASUS website and include support for the "Core Tuning Config for Gaming" feature. Installation can be done via standard BIOS tools on AM5 motherboards.
