ASUS Introduces GeForce RTX 5080 Noctua Edition with Triple Cooler and ROG Astral DOOM Edition - 666 Units
Company ASUS Continues Collaboration with Noctua, representing the video card GeForce RTX 5080 Noctua Edition with a completely redesigned cooling system. This is the first model of the RTX 50 series, equipped with three Noctua NF-A12x25 G2 fans with a diameter of 120 mm, which provide quiet and efficient operation. The card has an enlarged vapor chamber, an aluminum radiator and thermal pads with phase transition for better heat dissipation from GPU.
The design feature was four slot thickness, which is explained by large fans and a power amplifier system GPU Guard, preventing deflection and deformation during installation. The card is designed in the branded brown-gray colors Noctua, on the rear panel there is a metal plate with a cutout for the third fan. This solution provides maximum air circulation, especially in cases with horizontal installation.
In addition to the Noctua version, ASUS presented ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5080 DOOM Edition Limited Edition, dedicated to the release of DOOM: The Dark Ages. The design is made in the style of the Slayer's weapon - the blades of a shield saw. The fans and the case combine an aggressive look and copper cooling elements, and the maximum frequency reaches 2790 MHz. In total, there will be available for sale only 666 copies, which makes the card collectible.
Both versions are built on the flagship RTX 5080 architecture, but are aimed at different categories of enthusiasts - a quiet, stable assembly with Noctua or a spectacular design for DOOM. ASUS emphasizes that the release of such models is part of a strategy to expand premium lines with unique positioning.
