Arrow Lake Refresh will be included in the Core line Ultra 200 - Core models expected Ultra 5 255, Core Ultra 7 275 and Core Ultra 9 295

According to insiders, updated processors Arrow Lake Refresh will receive the designation Core Ultra 200 series and will be presented as Ultra +5 255 Ultra 7 and Ultra 9 295. These models will be a direct upgrade from last year's 245/265/285 and will retain socket compatibility. LGA1851, but architecturally they will remain almost unchanged. In 2026, Intel will completely switch to new platform with new socket for Panther Lake, having completed support for the current one.

Core Ultra 200

In essence, this is a technical refresh with with minor improvements in frequencies and energy efficiency, without changing the microarchitecture. Support for faster DDR5 memory is also expected. However, many users perceived this strategy as a dead end: LGA1851 will only be relevant until the end of this year, and there will be no upgrade boards in 2026.

On forums and social networks, users note that even reduced prices on Ultra 7 265K doesn't make it attractive, because the platform does not provide for long-term modernization. Unlike AMD with AM5, which guarantees support until 2026, Intel still adheres to the policy of frequently changing sockets.

Core Ultra 255/275/295 will become final line for LGA1851, before the company introduces an entirely new platform under Panther Lake in 2026 - with a new socket, a new chipset and Cougar Cove architecture.

Announcement Ultra 200 Refresh expected at Computex 2025, where Intel will reveal the exact specifications and release dates of the models. Judging by the trend, this will be the last opportunity to upgrade on the existing platform.
