AOC Unveils New Line of G2 Gaming Monitors
AOC, one of the world's leading brands in the monitor market, introduces the new G2 series. The series consists of four models with Full HD resolution (1920x1080 pixels): 27-inch (68,6 cm) 27G2U and 27G2U5, and 23,8-inch (60,4 cm) 24G2U and 24G2U5.
Fans of dynamic games will like the 27G2U and 24G2U models, which have a refresh rate of 144 Hz. At the same time, for fans of quieter games, we recommend the 27G2U5 or 24G2U5 with a frequency of 75 Hz. All monitors support AMD FreeSync technology and boast a 1ms MPRT response time for smooth gameplay without motion blur or stuttering. Color-accurate IPS panels deliver incredible image brightness even at wide 178°/178° viewing angles. All models feature an aggressive, modern design with red accents on the front and back, and feature a 130mm height-adjustable stand for better ergonomics.
Smooth gameplay and vibrant visuals
The 27" 27G2U and 23,8" 24G2U feature IPS panels with 120% and 126% sRGB color gamut coverage, respectively, for natural color reproduction and stunning visuals. With a fast 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, these monitors deliver smooth gaming experiences for any gamer, including fast-paced shooters, massively multiplayer online action games, and more.
AOC 27G2U
Fans of quiet games, such as strategy and quests, usually do not need a very high refresh rate. The best choice for them would be 27G2U5 and 24G2U5, operating at a frequency of 75 Hz. Both models provide better quality than regular 60Hz monitors. The new products are also equipped with IPS panels, which guarantee wide viewing angles of 178°/178° and rich, vibrant colors. 1ms MPRT response time and FreeSync support ensure smooth gaming experience. All models have a brightness of 250 cd/m² and can therefore be used in a wide range of lighting conditions.

Special features for gamers
The G2 series is equipped with a number of special gaming features. Low Input Lag ensures that users receive visual feedback after any action without noticeable delay. The AOC Game Color setting will increase or decrease color saturation, allowing gamers to see their opponents better and gain an advantage over them. The Dial Point feature will place the crosshair in the center of the screen, allowing you to aim more accurately. FlickerFree technology and Low Blue Light mode will help you endure long gaming sessions more comfortably. Finally, the package includes new and improved software for adjusting all the necessary settings.
connection
All four models feature dual HDMI interfaces, a DisplayPort for connecting a variety of sources, and a VGA input for legacy computers. The headset can be connected to the headphone output, or you can use the built-in 2W speakers. A built-in USB hub allows you to connect peripherals such as a keyboard and/or mouse for a tidier workspace.
The European premiere of the new line of monitors took place at the world's largest gaming exhibition gamescom, which was held in Cologne (Germany) from August 20 to 24, 2019.
