AOC Unveils CQ27G1 Curved Display: 27-Inch, 144Hz, FreeSync, Under $300
The new model joins the line of inexpensive curved displays of the AOC G1 series. The 27-inch CQ27G1 model has a QHD resolution, and also has such traditional characteristics for G1 line monitors as a screen refresh rate of up to 144 Hz, a curvature radius of 1800R and support for AMD FreeSync technology.
The AOC CQ27G1 display is built on a 27-inch curved VA matrix with a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels, a maximum brightness of 250 nits, a contrast ratio of 3000:1, viewing angles of 178/178º, a response time of 1 ms (MPRT) and a screen refresh rate of 144 Hz.
The AOC CQ27G1 monitor is an intermediate solution between the Full HD C27G1 model with the same diagonal and the larger C32G1 display with QHD resolution. Like other devices in this family, this model has three key characteristics for modern computer games: it supports AMD FreeSync dynamic screen refresh synchronization technology, its maximum screen refresh rate reaches 144 Hz, and the matrix pixel response time is just 1 ms (MPRT).
The CQ27G1 display has the minimum required set of ports; the device is equipped with a single DisplayPort 1.2, two HDMI 2.0, and a 3,5 mm headphone jack. CQ27G1 has a functional stand with adjustable height (±130mm), tilt (-4° ~ +21,5°) and swivel (±34°). Moreover, the device body has holes for installing VESA 100x100 mounts.
