AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D in Ukraine: Rapid price growth and excitement among buyers
AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, one of the most anticipated processors, has finally hit the shelves in Ukrainian stores, but pricing and availability leave many questions. This high-performance processor has attracted considerable attention from gamers and professionals alike, but limited supplies to the Ukrainian market have led to a sharp price hike.
On Rozetka, one of the largest online stores in Ukraine, processor Ryzen 7 9800X3D was originally sold at 25 599 UAH (near $705). This price looked quite competitive against the backdrop of global prices, where the cost of a processor varies from $ 699 to 749 $. However, the entire batch was sold out literally within hours of its appearance on the website, which caused a flurry of discussions among buyers. Judging by all, the volume of delivery was too small, and buyers who were unable to purchase the processor at the starting price were left with nothing.
After Rozetka announced the sale of the entire batch, the processor appeared in other Ukrainian stores, such as Ready2Play and GameZone, but at significantly higher prices - 29 849 - 29 999 UAH (approximately $823 - $828 ). It's almost on 17-18% more expensive, than the starting price for Rozetka, which once again highlights the shortage of the product. Perhaps at this rate, price increases will become the new norm for the Ukrainian market if supplies do not increase.
As expected, the shortage on official sites immediately led to activity on the secondary market. Offers from resellers have already appeared on the OLX platform, where is the price Ryzen 7 9800X3D reaches 60 000 UAH (near $1655). This is more than twice the original price of the processor on Rozetka. This situation indicates high speculative activity and huge interest in this processor among buyers, which forces resellers to raise prices to the maximum.
On the international stage, prices for AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D look more stable and average $699 - $749 . However, in Ukraine, limited supplies and high demand make the processor more expensive. This price difference also highlights the high markups Ukrainian buyers face, who are forced to pay extra for availability.
While global users can purchase Ryzen 7 9800X3D at a reasonable price, Ukrainian consumers are facing serious difficulties, as the product shortage is used by resellers for maximum profit. Probably, as soon as Rozetka and other official sellers receive additional batches, prices may stabilize, but this is only an assumption.
