AMD Plans Zen 6 and UDNA GPU using TSMC N3E

AMD's plans have been leaked on the Chiphell platform, revealing details of future processors and graphics cards. According to information published by insider zhangzhonghao, the company plans to use TSMC's N3E process technology for Zen 6 CCD modules and N4C for IO chips. These changes promise a significant performance boost, surpassing the transition from Zen 4 to Zen 5.

AMD is also developing a new GPU- an architecture called UDNA that will combine the gaming capabilities of RDNA and the compute capabilities of CDNA, creating a unified platform for gaming and data centers. AMD's upcoming UDNA-based graphics cards promise the return of high-performance flagships after RDNA 4's absence.

The company is also working on a successor to its Strix Halo that will use 3D Cache to increase memory capacity and bandwidth, a move that aims to improve the performance of both processors and GPU.

AMD continues to invest in new technologies, introducing significant architectural changes that could become new standards in the market. The first devices based on Zen 6 and UDNA are expected to appear in the next few years.
