Jensen Huang Gets Leather Jacket From Robot - NVIDIA Supports 'Physical AI' and Style
NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang is back in the spotlight, but this time not because of technology, but thanks to a stylish gift from a humanoid robot company 1X Technologies. During a visit to the startup's headquarters in San Francisco, Huang received exclusive leather jacket, created by Californian brand ERL and adorned with the NVIDIA logo on the back.
This action was part of a demonstration of potential "physical AI", a new direction that NVIDIA is actively pursuing. 1X Technologies, a company based in Norway, is developing Neo Gamma — humanoid robots, which are expected to start arriving in thousands of homes by the end of 2025. For now, the robots are controlled remotely by operators, but full automation is planned for the future.
Huang appears in a robot jacket became a symbol of the convergence of two spheres: fashion and technology. Judging by the photos published online, the CEO looked pleased and was not averse to posing - this once again emphasizes NVIDIA's status as a technology leader, supporting an ecosystem of companies working with physical AI.
While Jensen is known for his love of leather jackets, this gift was special – it’s not every day that a robot hands you clothes. And during GTC 2025, he already showed off a “shiny” version of his iconic look, perhaps hinting that Team Green’s style will also evolve in the near future.
