Gamer builds full-fledged PC right in the truck cabin - and plays flight simulators on the road
Passion for video games can accompany a person even on the road - especially if he is a truck driver. User under the nickname ZanaZamora from r/pcmasterrace showed an unusual gaming setup, which he assembled right inside his truck. A compact but powerful PC, a large monitor, steering wheel and head tracking - all this is placed in the truck cabin and is ready to play at any moment of rest.
ZanaZamora noted that his gaming build already exists some years, but was recently moved to a new truck. It was joined by head tracking system, which improves immersion in simulators. The player also reported that, despite the logical association with Truck Simulator, he prefers flight simulators and more often goes into the virtual sky.
From the photo it is clear that the truck driver's cabin has been transformed into a full-fledged gaming station with control and visualization, which is not inferior to many home setups. The monitor is installed above the dashboard, the keyboard and mouse are placed on a pull-out shelf, and the system unit itself is fixed stably to withstand vibrations and movements on the highway. All this creates the most comfortable conditions for rest between flights.
Hybrid of profession and hobby is becoming increasingly popular among truck drivers. Instead of sitting bored in the parking lot, they are turning their cabins into personal gaming corners. With compact yet powerful components and portable peripherals, this approach has already become a reality for those who spend months behind the wheel but do not want to give up their hobby.
