The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered - Major Patch in the Works

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered continues to break popularity records in Steam, collecting rave reviews. However, the developers are not going to stop there: the team is actively studying the wishes of players to prepare large-scale patchThe list of proposals turned out to be extensive and touches on many aspects of the game.

One of the most frequent requests was sprint improvement – fans want the characters to move more smoothly and naturally. Players also complain about the difficulty balance: many consider the “Adept” mode too easy, and “Expert” too difficult. Among the suggestions are improvements character customization — the community demands more options when creating a hero.

Requests for inventory improvements deserve special attention: users want to see weight of objects before transferring them and have advanced sorting functions. Also among the wishes: the appearance of a full-fledged photo mode and official mod support. However, the last point may cause difficulties, since the project is based on the Unreal Engine, and not on the Creation Engine, which is more familiar to modders.

It is not yet known what exactly will be included in future updates. But judging by the activity of the developers and the popularity of the game, a major patch in the near future looks more than likely.
