Take-Two Interactive reports strong sales of Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption

Take-Two Interactive reported results for its latest fiscal quarter ending September 30, 2024, in which its net revenue reached $1,35 billion, up 4% year-over-year. Key franchises such as Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption, had a significant impact on growth.

Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online continue to deliver incredible sales. In the last quarter alone, GTA V sold another 5 million copies, bringing the game's total sales to 205 million copies. The entire GTA series has surpassed the 435 million mark in worldwide sales.

Not lagging behind and Red Dead Redemption 2, which has sold 67 million copies, making it the second best-selling game in the United States over the past six years in both units sold and revenue. The entire series Red Dead Redemption now has over 92 million copies sold.

Take-Two says the success of these series confirms their continued popularity and interest among players, with projects like GTA VI, scheduled for release in the fall of 2025, expected to further strengthen the company's position in the market.
