STALKER 2: A-Life 2.0 will be improved in the upcoming patches

After 15 years of waiting STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl is finally out PC and Xbox, drawing both praise and criticism. While the game received generally positive reviews, many players were unhappy with the performance of the AI system. A-Life 2.0, responsible for simulating life in the Zone.

GSC Game World, the game's developer, quickly responded to the complaints and confirmed that the system would be improved in upcoming patches. In a message to fans via Discord, the studio representatives stated:

"We know that this system [A-Life 2.0] is very important for immersion in the atmosphere of the Zone, and we will do everything possible to fix it all known issues. We intend to improve the performance of A-Life 2.0 in the coming updates."

In the original STALKER trilogy, the A-Life system was one of the main features, creating a living, dynamic world. It allowed NPC factions to interact with each other, unexpectedly collide or fight, adding an element of chaos and realism. However, the current version of A-Life 2.0, according to players, works not dynamic enough, and enemy spawns have become less sudden and predictable.

At the time of the game's release, GSC Game World has not yet named the exact timing of the release of patches, but emphasizes that fixes are a priority. Given the constant support and promises of the developers, players hope that STALKER 2 will become better in the future and will meet the expectations of fans of the series.
