Rainbow Six Siege X is now free — new modes, graphics, and 52 operators for $39.99
Ubisoft released Rainbow Six Siege X — a large-scale update that completely changes the format of the popular shooter. Now the game has become free on all platforms, including PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, Series X|S, and Amazon Luna. Newcomers get access to Unranked, Quick Match, and the new Dual Front mode at no cost, with additional features unlocked by purchasing paid editions.
В Dual Front - unique 6v6 mode, attacking and defending teams fight on one map for control of sectors. During the battle, players can change operators, respawn, and perform special tasks in neutral zones. The mode has become a permanent part of the game and significantly expands the tactical gameplay. The update also improves graphics, lighting and sound., including reworking the Clubhouse, Chalet, Border, Bank and Kafe cards.
To access all modes, including Ranked and Siege Cup, two editions are available. Elite Edition for $19.99 unlocks 16 operators, and the Ultimate Edition for $39.99 includes all 52 characters and the Disruptor set. Also added are new elements of environmental destruction — gas pipes, metal detectors, fire extinguishers — which can be used in combat. The system of movement on walls on the rappel has become smoother: now you can move along the wall and go around the corners of buildings. The updated audio system helps identify enemies by sounds steps and the furnishings in the rooms. For beginners, a detailed training introduction has been implemented.
