Portal 3 in development

Insider Tyler McVicker claims that Valve is nearing completion of development Half-Life 3. According to him, the project, under the working title HLX, is already in the final testing stage. The team is currently working on optimization and fixing bugs to prepare the game for a full release. According to rumors, the demo could take place as early as summer 2025, and release is expected in winterThere have been no official announcements from Valve yet, but leaks are becoming more and more numerous, and many of them look plausible.

The project is not connected to virtual reality like Half-Life: Alyx, but is focused on a traditional single-player experience. McVicker claims that the game is already completely playable from start to finish. This means that we are not talking about an early stage, but a practically finished product. Among other interesting details is the potential appearance of Chell, the main character of Portal, in Half-Life 3.
