Patch 1.0.1 for STALKER 2 is out: over 650 fixes and improvements!
Developers S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 released the first major patch 1.0.1, eliminating more 650 bugs and improvements to the game. The update is now available for PC и Xbox.
The patch reworks key elements, from NPC AI to weapon and mutant balance. Highlights include:
- HAVE: Fixed bugs with NPCs getting stuck, their strange behavior (for example, "flying" after death) and missions freezing. Improved NPC interaction with shelters and targets.
- Optimization: Fixed issues with invisible NPCs and objects, memory leaks, and decreased FPS in locations with a large number of NPCs.
- Balance: The cost of repairs has been reduced, rewards for missions have been increased (2-3 times), damage from mutants has been reworked, and armor durability has been increased. Now newcomers will be able to start the game more comfortably.
- Missions: Fixed blockers that prevented progression through quests, including issues with dialogue, object interactions, and marker freezing.
- Open world: Fixed bugs with textures, NPC behavior and fast movement.

- Mission bug fixes: "Just Like the Good Old Days", "Dangerous Visitors", "In Search of Past Glory" and others.
- Object optimization: fixed "floating" objects and physics issues.
- Improved combat system: increased melee range, reworked parameters of some mutants, including Bloodsuckers и Burer.
- UI Fixes: Inventory, HUD, and graphics settings issues have been resolved.
