Eidos Montreal confirms collaboration with Playground Games for Fable development

A few years ago, Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier reported on the development of the Fable game for Xbox Series X|S and PC, stating the involvement of the Eidos Montreal studio in the project. Following yesterday's Xbox Games Showcase, where a new Fable trailer was shown, Eidos Montreal has officially confirmed this information.

Details of the collaboration remain unknown, but the developers said they intend to help the lead team at Playground Games create an “unforgettable adventure.” Fable is scheduled for release in 2025.

Eidos Montreal's latest work was the action game Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy.
